Yellow, pink, blue, red, and green.

Colors dance inside Mommy's busy brain.

Mommy lives with bipolar disorder, a mental difference in which moods swing from high to low.  To explain these shifts to her daughter, Mommy describes herself as a rainbow, turning moods like joy and sorrow into colors. As Mommy paints the world in living color her daughter learns that Mommy is a wonderfully different artist.

Mommy Is a Rainbow is more than a book for children, parents, and guardians. Mommy's voice is that of all those who live with bipolar disorder sharing their colorful world with others.
